Homecoming 2009 – Press Release

The Maquoketa Community High School Alumni Association would like to share with all families who have a connection with our schools to come to homecoming, this Friday, September 25^th.

The alumni association will be hosting a “meet and greet” at their alumni tent near the field during the game.  

Head Coach Kevin Bowman and his staff and team are honoring football alumni from the class of 1984.

The alumni association will be giving away t-shirts and other prizes during the game.  Be sure to visit their tent.

And after the game, the alumni association is hosting an After Game party at the Decker Hotel Pub.  Immediately following the game.

T-shirts and other free items will be given away – it’s a must attend event.  (Old high school photos have been found and will be on a DVD display!)

Remember everyone with a connection to our schools are invited and encouraged to visit the alumni association tent at the game and come to the after game party.

For the past four years the alumni association has given two $500 scholarships to a female and male student graduating each spring.
